T Pots Pottery

Kids Class- NEW

Wednesday March 10, 2010 - March 31, 2010 3:45 pm – 5:15 pm $60

Kids can explore the various ways of creating functional and sculptural pottery objects. Kids learn different handbuilding techniques, as well as an introduction to the potter’s wheel. This class will be taught by Guest Instructor, Jesse Rose, an art educator with experience teaching children.

Paint Your own Pottery

T Pots Pottery now offers Paint your own Pottery, you may either paint at the studio or take your pieces, glaze and paint brushes home to paint then return them to the studio to be fired.

Beginning Wheel Throwing

Sunday April 11 – April 25 10 am – 12:30 pm Cost $120

Sunday February 21 – March 7 10 am – 12:30 pm Cost $120

Classes meet once a week for 3 weeks. Learn the basics of Wheel-thrown pottery. The beginning potter will work on the wheel to learn the basic skills like centering and throwing bowl and cylinder forms.

Advanced Beginner Wheel Throwing

Sunday May 16 - May 30 10 am – 12:30 pm Cost $115

Tuesday June 6 – June 20 5:30 pm – 8 pm Cost $115

So you feel comfortable with basic throwing (centering, throwing cylinder & bowl shapes), We will refine our skills working with more clay, creating larger items with an emphasis on shape and design.

Mini Continuing Wheel Sunday June 6, 13, 20th 10 am – 12:30 pm $120

Advanced beginner/intermediate to advanced will improve skills and learn new techniques.

Surface Decoration Workshop

May 22nd 2 pm – 3:30 pm or May 23rd 2 pm – 5 pm $25 + clay

Slips, underglaze, fluting and making texture is what this class is all about

“Try It!” Cost: $35.00

Our Try-It Workshops are a unique way to give ceramics a try. We will teach you how to form clay into something amazing during this 2 hr class on the potters wheel. Everything you need is included.

Use of equipment, up to 25 Lbs of clay, studio glaze and firing is included.

Students need to bring a towel and throwing tools (for wheel class).
